I've always been drawn to the design of Greenspeed trikes, and my recent acquisition of the Magnum Big Wheel has been a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Having previously owned an old GT3 Greenspeed, I decided it was time to indulge myself with a new trike. The Magnum Big Wheel, in my opinion, stands out from other brands in the industry due to several distinctive features.
One noteworthy feature is the adjustable seat height, allowing for a personalized configuration tailored to individual needs and riding preferences. The inclusion of Bar end shifters, extra-strong wheels, and a rear mudguard adds to the appeal of the Magnum Big Wheel. The seat, known for its comfort and breathability, aligns perfectly with my preferences. The absence of padding in the seat contributes to a cooler experience, and the shock cords provide a subtle touch of suspension.
Folding capability was a crucial factor for me, and the trike's folding process is remarkably straightforward. With three quick releases, the seat can be effortlessly removed in seconds. The trike incorporates a center hinge in the frame, facilitating easy folding, and the rear portion smoothly folds over the front without the need to remove any pannier bags, rack top bags, or fold handlebars.
In terms of weight capacity, the Greenspeed Magnum Big Wheel is well-suited for individuals ranging from 180 lbs to 400 lbs. My hope is that Greenspeed will introduce a full-suspension version in approximately five years, providing a compelling reason for me to consider another Greenspeed trike purchase. The Magnum Big Wheel has proven to be a versatile and comfortable ride, and I eagerly anticipate potential future innovations from Greenspeed.
