Caught up in the allure of the Sun Eco Tad's low price, I made a decision without thoroughly researching and doing my homework. While the Eco Tad might be suitable for a casual user looking for a simple ride around the block, I quickly realized it wasn't the right fit for someone like me who seeks more from their triking experience. The limitations became apparent when attempting to achieve speeds beyond fifteen miles per hour. The single chain ring in the front and the smaller twenty-inch rear wheel hindered the gearing capabilities. I found the shifting of the rear derailleur disappointing, especially considering its plastic construction, likely a cost-cutting measure to keep the overall price low. Despite these drawbacks, I did find the seat comfortable, and the handlebars facilitated easier maneuvers, allowing me to boost myself out of the trike effortlessly. The frame's workmanship is acceptable, and the paint job appears satisfactory. In retrospect, while the Eco Tad serves as an okay starter trike, I wish I had invested in a more feature-rich option, recognizing that my needs and preferences extend beyond the basic functionality of the Eco Tad.
