I shopped around looking for an adult tricycle for riding around my neighborhood and trips to the grocery store. I have compared the True Bicycles Journey to many different brands of similar design and price and found the Journey to be the best value. What set the Journey apart was a larger basket that the Journey came with that was not available on the other brand trikes. The Journey also came with rear fenders and that was an extra charge or simply not available on other brands. The biggest deal was that the Journey was a six speed trike where all other trikes had to be upgraded to get gears installed which added $160-$215 to the cost of those other trikes. My Journey also came with two brakes where some of the other trikes on the market only came with a front brake. I am happy with my trike and have been riding it around my neighborhood a lot.

I am really enjoying my Journey Tricycle, it is far superior to my old single speed tricycle. I particularly like that my trike has six speeds. The hills by my home have just become two difficult for me to get up on my old single speed tricycle so having the ability to shift to an easier pedaling gear is a big advantage. I also like the large oversize seat with springs which I have found to be comfortable enough. I also like that the Journey came with an extra-large rear basket. I use my trike for small errands around town and I use it for grocery shopping. Fenders were something I knew I want and they help keep me clean when riding just after it rains and there are puddles on the road.

I got my trike shipped to me fully assembled, all I had to do was adjust the handle bar and seat for my size.

Had a Schwinn trike which turned out to be a piece of Junk. I needed a good quality trike at a reasonable price, so after talking with the people at Industrialbicycles I was recommended to get the True Journey trike. I have been pleased with the Journey, it riders well and came with a big wide seat with springs, three fenders and six speeds which come in handy with some hill by where I live. I primarily use the trike for exercise but the basket is a nice place to carry my purse and a bottle of water. I partially like the blue sparkly paint and the wide tires make me feel safe when I ride accost grass and dirt. The people at Industrialbicycles completely assembled the trike and shipped it to me in a large box, all I had to do is adjust the handlebars and it was ready to ride.

I really like my Journey six speed trike. I had a three speed trike and struggle on the hills, having the extra easier pedaling gears really helps out. I also like the larger basket on the Journey compared to my pervious trike.
