I purchase the Lowride based on looks. I think it is the coolest looking trike with the low seat and those mag wheels. The trike I bought is the single speed version and it rides just fine by the path at the beach. I do not really ride it far, it is more of something for me to do. I and on disability and like going to the beach to people watch and hang out. The only thing I would like to see that is different is more padding on the back of the seat and I wish the pad was larger. One of those mesh back seats would be perfect and add a lot of back support and comfort.

By FAR TOO NO ONE CAME CLOSE TO A CHALLENGE COMPARED TO THE COMFORTABLY AND SMOOTH RIDE AND HOW FAST U CAN ADJUST THE SEAT FOR A DIFFERENT RIDER And they love it and now so do i! They go to school or to a friend's im on it enjoying it like a LITTLE KID LOVE IT!!! IT WAS DEFINITELY WORTH THE MONEY THATS! 100% BC I HAVE HAD IT FOR YEARS NOW AND THE TUBES WERE THE ONLY THING I HAD TO EVER REPLACE SO ITS DEFINITELY STRONG BUILT AND DURABLE!!!
Cool looking trike but the small wheels limit you alot. If this trike had bigger wheels it would be a 5 star trike.
I made a bit of a mistake buying the Lowrider. The trike will fit and adult size person but now I feel it is more of a trike targeted at the teen market. I love the looks with the cool mag wheel but I need more gears so I can keep up with other people. I felt the pad for the backrest was too small so I made my own to add some comfort to the trike. If you are an adult I think you could be happier with the Trailmate Meteor or other brand trike with more gears and a more comfortable seat.

My Son has balance issues and can not ride a two wheel bicycle. We wanted a trike that had a cool look for a ten year old boy. We thought about getting a two wheel bike and adding some adult style training wheel but after some research and thought we know we made the right choice with a trike. The adult training wheel make you set up to high and we thought other kids would tease him for riding on training wheels. We gave my son the Trailmate Lowrider trike to him for his birthday and he absolutely loves the trike. The trike is fairly low to the ground which give the trike a lot of stability. My son loves to ride the trike fast around corners and he likes to set up cones in our driveway and see how fast he can ride around them. The quality is very good and we are very happy with our choice.
