<p>My friend has a Trident Spike which I got to ride and help me make my decision on the Trident Stowaway. Even though I am five years older than my friend I am in better shape and have some different priorities. My friend needs a high seat because it is difficult for him to stand up and sit down where it is not a problem for me. I think my Stowaway is a good trike for the money. The Stowaway came with three fenders a rear rack and a mirror which is all extra on other brands of trikes. Comparing my trike to his, my trike steers a lot better. The steering is a different design between the two trike and the cross linkage steering just feels a lot better to me. I like that the seat height is lower that the Spike which gives the Stowaway a racer feel. I like that both the seat height and the seat angle can be adjusted independently from each other. The seat fabric is very well made with a reflective strip on the back and a nice pocket sewn in for carrying a cell phone, wallet, extra inter tube and patch kit.</p>

<p>I like the lightweight aluminum frame compared to other trikes near and under the same price range. I had the boom length adjusted twice; the third time was a charm. And, you really want the headrest. The Avid disc brakes work well. The steering requires very little effort. I love the bar end shifters, they are so easy to use. This trike really flies! Careful when you corner. It was great to have a choice of seven colors, I got the Atomic Orange for safety and I just love the color. I really love this trike. 5 stars!</p>
